Genetics is one of the youngest medical sciences. Research is moving quickly and many discoveries have yet to be made. Why has this discipline in particular made enormous progress in recent years? Quite simply, thanks to technological progress. Because genetics means one thing above all: lots of data. Processing and analyzing this data at the speed required today can only be done with high-performance computers. And we are still a long way from the end.

Above all, we are looking for people who are hungry for knowledge and curious to explore the latest state of the art. How can genetic analyses be performed more efficiently and cost-effectively? What new methods are on the market that promise a high benefit for patients? With which service providers can a promising cooperation be expected? The great thing about this field is that you don't need to have any previous medical experience. Much more important at this point is technical understanding, a love of project work and, above all, an inquisitive nature. Genetics can also be your field if you come from IT and want to get into research. Our field thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration between IT, biology and medicine. Join us in discovering the possibilities that the human genome holds.
